I woke up to find it was snowing outside. And golly did it ever snow and snow. I tried to go to prayer meeting, I really did; but what felt like 5 thousand hit curbs later, I turned around and headed home. This innocent trip had turned into a suicide mission. It doesn't help that my car seriously goes out of its way to crash. I mean, it really has no idea what to do in the snow. This afternoon it's stopped snowing but there's quite a bit of white stuff on the ground, so I can't go to the Xtreme Rat Challenge, which I've been looking forward to all year. But I did stay home and clean rat cages.

- Hi, I'm Becca and this is my blog. I usually just write about my day, usually getting reflective and philosphical along the way. I like sharing my insights and world view with others. I'm a very honest person, almost to a fault. I like to spend time with my 15 rats, 3 cats, and of course my mom and little sister, Ginny (her real name is Natalie, whom I live with. Right now I'm on the transplant list to receive a new liver. I suffer from the liver disease PSC and also Ulcerative Colitis. I have other diseases and problems as well and all these things keep me at home, usually in bed. But that's okay because I get more time to pursue my interests! I love writing stories and am currently working on a long short story/novella named 'The Master Painter'. As far as religion goes, I'm a Christian, but probably a lot different than most of the Christians you've met. I did not know there were xtreme rat challanges, I need to find out more about those!
The Xtreme Rat Challange is the event they do at Wesleyan. Staci has 7 of the "leftover" rats waiting to be adopted right now. I've adopted two of them. These rats were on the Modern Marvels show last month, too!
